The 10K Miles: 10K Trees Challenge is in full swing and the momentum is growing every day. More than 330 participants across 39 states are walking, running, riding, and swimming their miles to help plant trees through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
Now we need you and your friends to help us reach our goal of 10,000 miles this October. Registration is free, and every mile = one tree planted.
If you’ve already joined, you can make an even greater impact by inviting others or making a gift to support REACH GREEN’s mission. Every action, every mile, every dollar, helps us grow programs that connect people and green spaces.
Miles That Matter: Communities Leading the Way
Every community has green spaces that bring people together and this fall, we’re seeing how much they matter. From WeWalkPHL’s park cleanups during Love Your Park Week in Philadelphia (Nov 14–16) to the UNMC Run Club’s plog along Omaha’s Field Club Trail (Oct 6) and the Cape May Plogging Club’s fall shore cleanups in New Jersey, local groups are turning movement into impact.
Each effort helps restore trails, reduce waste, and preserve the green spaces that connect us. Their work reflects what REACH GREEN is building: a growing community of people taking collective action to sustain the places that make our miles and our neighborhoods thrive.
REACH GREEN Named Official Charity Partner of ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Colorado
REACH GREEN and ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Colorado teamed up to celebrate and protect the green spaces we love and rely on. REACH GREEN was honored to be the beneficiary of the ÖTILLÖ Charity Chaser Program, featuring Olympic triathlete Tyler Butterfield.
For every person Tyler passed, and through matching donations, funds were raised to support REACH GREEN’s mission to preserve green spaces and build climate-resilient communities.
The next ÖTILLÖ Swimrun USA event and season finale takes place in Austin, TX, on November 9.
Members of the REACH GREEN community can use the code REACHGREEN for 10% off entry.
