We’re proud to announce our first official partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, beginning with the restoration of longleaf pine forests in North Carolina’s Sandhills, an ecosystem where only 6% of its historic habitat remains. This collaboration marks a major milestone for REACH GREEN and underscores our commitment to preserving green spaces and strengthening climate-resilient neighborhoods through tangible action. Progress in Action: Atlanta’s Greenway Moves Forward
Atlanta has officially launched the design phase for the Memorial Drive Greenway, an 8.5-acre linear park set to stretch through multiple neighborhoods. It’s a great example of how transforming urban land into green space can build healthier, more resilient communities while creating places where people want to gather and move.

Running Club Spotlight
At REACH GREEN, we believe endurance and participatory sports are powerful tools for connection and change. Each month, we’ll highlight a local running, cycling, walking, or swimming club that’s giving back and inspiring its community. These organizations show how movement can bring people together, support healthier neighborhoods, and create a culture of impact. If you’re part of a club or team we should feature, let us know, we’d love to spotlight you next.

Atlanta Track Club
With nearly 37,000 members, Atlanta Track Club is one of the largest running organizations in the nation, and the heartbeat of “Running City USA.” Beyond hosting iconic events like the Peachtree Road Race, the Club inspires healthy, active lifestyles through free youth programs like Kilometer Kids, inclusive training for runners of all levels, and scholarships that support the next generation. By bringing people together across neighborhoods and backgrounds, Atlanta Track Club shows how running builds stronger, more connected communities, values that align closely with REACH GREEN’s mission.
